School Day Timetable
The school day starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:15pm. Registration is from 8:45am to 8:50am.
The total opening time is 32 hours and 30 minutes.
Morning Playtimes
- At 10:30am, children from Reception to Year 2 have a short break.
- Older children (Years 3–6) have break from 11:00am to 11:15am.
Lunch
- Children in Reception have their lunch at 11:45am and their break ends at 12:50pm.
- Children in Years 1 and 2 have lunch at 11:50am.
- Children in Years 3–6 begin their break at 12:15pm.
- Lunchtimes for Key Stage Two children end at 1:10pm.
Afternoon Playtimes
Reception Class have break times which are quite flexible.
Drop-off and Collection
At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents.
If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know. This avoids any confusion or upset.
Getting to School
To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits:
- It’s healthier than travelling by car
- It improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users
- It respects nearby residents and parking regulations
Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely and respect our neighbours.
